Mr. Cliff Trull, 84, passed away on January 23, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Thomas Clifton "Cliff" Trull was born on October 28, 1939, in Oktibbeha County, to the late Thomas Sylvester and Elsie White Trull. Mr. Cliff served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a Bob Truck Driver for Bryan Foods for 43 years. He was a charter member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in West Point where he served as Treasurer and was a Sunday School teacher. He was an avid and accomplished wood craftsman, making mirrors, tables, and clocks. He was an avid and accomplished vegetable gardener. He was a very kind and humble man and a wonderful neighbor. He married Carolyn Zimmer Trull on September 16, 1961, in Columbus.
Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Lone Oak Baptist Church in West Point. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Brother John Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Webster County. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Zimmer Trull of West Point: one son, Jason Scott Trull of Shannon: two grandsons, T. C. Trull (Rebeca) and Tyler Trull, and one great-grandson, Bradley Trull, all of West Point.
Pallbearers will be T. C. Trull, Tyler Trull, Walter Norwood, Jeremy Wilkins, Willie Thompson, and Trey Pruett.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Willie Hightower, Homer Blansett, Jr., his many friends at Lone Oak Baptist Church, and former co-workers at Bryan Foods.
Memorials may be made to Lone Oak Baptist Church, 233 Lone Oak Road, West Point, Mississippi 39773 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
