Tom Ulmschneider, 70, of Afton, NY, Passed Away Peacefully

Tom Ulmschneider, 70, of Afton, NY, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, February 26, surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Astoria and Rockaway Beach, NY, Tom moved to Afton in 1985, where he became a cherished member of the community.

Tom was a beloved local radio personality in Binghamton, NY, known affectionately as "Tom the Electrician," and quickly became a fan favorite. A devoted New York Rangers fan, he never missed an opportunity to watch his favorite team play. He was also an avid golfer and treasured the time spent with his family.

He was predeceased by his brother David, his sister Chickie, and his nephew Matthew.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his daughters, Lauren (Rob) and Kaitlyn (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Quinn, Victoria, and Robbie; bonus granddaughter Katy; and great-grandson Liam. He also leaves behind his brothers Fred and John (Pat), sisters Honey (Gerard) and Kathy (Pete), and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Special recognition goes to his lifelong friends-Murf, Herb, and Maf-the original members of Camp Manly.
