Thomas Vest Obituary

Mr. Vest passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1948, in Morgan County, to Rufus Greer Vest and Coree Elizabeth Long Vest.
Mr. Vest was a United States Veteran of the Army, and a Past Master in the Danville Masonic Lodge # 95. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, to anyone who needed him. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved Alabama football. He was employed as a Millwright, prior to his retirement.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother - Dalton Vest.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation in his memory.
Survivors include
Wife - Malinda Vest,
Sons - Charlie Vest (Christy) and
Shaun Vest (Christy),
Brother - Derry Vest,
Sisters- Greerlyn Stroupe and
Saronda Vest (Randy),
Eleven Grandchildren and
Twelve Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Johnny Cooper, Lynn Proctor, Scott McManus, Macky Vest, Josh Sharp, Charles Alexander.
