Thomas Edwin Warga 05/12/1956-12/04/2025.
Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, A time to laugh, A time to mourn, and a time to dance. Tom was called home by our Heavenly Father on December 4, 2025. While his departure leaves a deep ache in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing he is at home with his personal savior, Jesus Christ.
Born May 12, 1956 to Raymond and Dolores (Norton) Warga in St. Cloud MN. He graduated from Holdingford High School, and went on to the University of Minnesota in Crookston where he studied broadcasting. His true passion was in broadcasting and announcing. He started doing voice overs and commercials in the late 90’s which led to Rodeo Announcing. He traveled all over the United States announcing Rodeos, creating playlists, and learning every in and out of Rodeos. When he wasn’t announcing, or in one of his sales positions, he was in the semi getting the sailboat fuel delivered. When Tom was passionate about something he never stopped researching. He researched the Bible and gained daily knowledge more than anything else.
Tom will be remembered by those who knew him for his ability to sell snow to a snow man, having a heart of gold, cutting up, his willingness to help anyone, his smile, laugh and larger than life voice.
Tom is proceeded in death by his loving parents, infant daughter Julie, and infant great nephew Samuel.
He is survived by his children Jennifer (Lee) Davis of MT, Jacqueline (Nikia) Buchman of KY, Michael (Melanie) Warga of KY, Daniel (Anna) Warga of KY; his brother Bruce (Cheryl) Warga of Holdingford, sister Ann (Dave) Anderson of Ashby, MN; eight grandchildren, two great granddaughters, eight nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews, and many special friends he encountered in his life journey.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Free Lutheran Church, Dalton, MN. A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2026 at South Elmdale Congregational Church Cemetery, rural Holdingford, MN.
