John Warga Obituary
Jacksonville - John Edward Warga, 81, of Jacksonville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. Born in Jacksonville, he followed his family's pharmacy legacy, graduating from Creighton University and serving the community as a pharmacist.
He is survived by his children, John Christopher Warga and Anne Grzanich, his brother, Reginald Warga, also a pharmacist, and three grandchildren, Braden, Dane, and Courtney. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.J. and Pauline Warga, and his wife Julie Warga.
John loved baseball and cherished his family and friends.
Services will be held at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville at 10 a.m. on Friday January 30, 2026, with burial at Memorial Lawn. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Saviour Catholic Church.

Reg, I´m so sorry to hear that John passed away. He and my older brother Cork were close friends in high school (`62). I saw both of them often their senior year. I remember one summer John went with us camping at the Damrau homestead dairy farm in central Wisconsin along with classmates Bill Sims and David Middendorf. It was quite an adventure! John was a good man.
