Thomas Davis Warren Jr.

Thomas Davis "Dave" Warren Jr. passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 75. Originally from Newport News, Virginia, he has been a resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, for the last thirty years.
Dave voluntarily joined the United States Marine Corps in October 1965 during the Vietnam War for the purpose of serving this great nation. During that time, he was grievously wounded and medically retired from service in October 1971. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with one star, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
His parents were the late Thomas D. Warren, Sr., and Estelle Warren. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Melissa Warren; siblings, Stephen Warren and Lisa Sowers; children, Randy Warren, Justin Warren-Butler, Julie Hodge, and Stacie Russell; many grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on August 3, 2023. He will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, in memory of Dave.
