Thomas Weakley Obituary
Born on August 30, 1930 in Richmond, Virginia, Tommy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School before beginning a remarkable 50-plus-year career at Industrial Supply Corporation. His dedication, reliability, and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike, and he took great pride in his decades of service.
Tommy shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marjorie "Margie" Anne Lowe Weakley, who predeceased him in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lynn Weakley, Sr. and Judith Thomas Weakley of Richmond, and his brother, Charles Lynn Weakley, Jr. (Liz).
A man of deep faith, Tommy attended First Baptist Church in Ashland where he enjoyed participating in the Men's Sunday School class taught by his nephew, Max Haley.
He was a member of Richmond Lodge No. 10 and Lodge No. 11 AF&AM and also served as a member of the Greeters Unit of the ACCA Shriners, warmly welcoming members and guests with his signature kindness and good humor.
He is survived by his children, Michael Thomas Weakley (Elizabeth) and Thomas Rhys Weakley, Jr. (Nancy); his grandchildren, Jason Thomas Weakley (Ashley), Anne Carver Weakley Blaylock (Thomas), and Sarah Weakley Sichol (Austin); and his great-grandchildren, Skylar, Virginia, and Jason Weakley Jr., and Rhys, Louella, Alice, and Marjorie Rose Sichol all of whom affectionately knew him as "Poppa Tommy."
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11 o'clock in the morning at Chestnut Hill, 161 Porter Lane, Montross, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of choice in his memory because of his diverse philanthropic nature.

Our deepest condolences to Tommy´s family. He was the epitome of a Southern gentleman. So kind and soft spoken with a gracious generous spirit of friendship. We adored him and enjoyed our friendship as neighbors.
