Thomas A. Weddle, 59, passed away on March 23, 2024. He was born on August 1, 1964, to Albert B. Weddle and Martha M. "Maxine" (Johnson) Weddle in Kokomo, Indiana.
Thomas was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and cherished friend. Thomas was a devoted family man whose love for his wife, children, and extended family knew no bounds.
Thomas dedicated over 15 years as a General Contractor, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and excellence in his work.
His love for learning was evident in his deep exploration of subjects ranging from world history to American history, matters of theology, finding solace and enlightenment in his studies. He was known to be a Constitutional Scholar. His intellectual curiosity, passion for learning, and unwavering commitment to understanding the world around him will continue to inspire and guide us in our own pursuits. Beyond his passion for knowledge, he had an unparalleled craftsmanship and mastery of carpentry creating the most beautiful pieces.
Thomas will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas is survived by his wife Deborah (Guthrie) Weddle and children Elijah Weddle, Seth Weddle, Bek Jordan, Ashley Weddle, Gabrielle Weddle; sister Rhonda Ryder; grandchildren Alexander Weddle and Jacob Townsend; and many valued friends and extended family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Maxine Weddle.
Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 11am on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home Shepherd Chapel with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset funeral expenses. You may donate through the Sunset website or by calling the funeral home (812) 477-5316
