Ruth A. Sniezek, 72, of Shenango Township passed away the afternoon of May 10, 2025 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born in New Castle on October 26, 1952, Ruth was the daughter of the late Domenick (Snake) Carbone and Margaret A. King Carbone.
Ruth is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Sniezek. The two were married on April 26, 1975.
In the early years, Ruth had worked for Norwest Financial. She then worked as a supervisor at Liberty Mutual until she retired.
After retiring Ruth worked for Medure's Catering.
Ruth was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. She was also a member of the TAM Club with her closest friends. Ruth also enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing and visiting casinos. A loving wife, mother and grandmother life for Ruth revolved around her family.
In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her three children, Raschelle Smith (Tom), Larry Sniezek (Marie Notareschi), and Renee Giordano (Rick), two brothers, Richard and Donald Carbone, one sister, Terry Magusiak (Henry) and six grandchildren, Jordan, Reagan, Carter, Nadia, Gio and Giada.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Kathy Carbone, brother-in-law, Ronald Sniezek and mother-in-law, Helen Fullerton.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home officiated by Deacon John Carran.
Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
