In Loving Memory of Thomas James Whigham

Thomas James Whigham, 74, of Panama City, Florida, passed away on January 17, 2026. Born on August 14, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tom was a man of many talents and a deep devotion to his family.

Tom was a skilled craftsman who found great joy in working with his hands. Whether he was engaged in intricate woodworking or complex metal fabrication, he had a unique ability to build and create. When he wasn't in his workshop, Tom could often be found embracing the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle or enjoying the quiet patience of fishing. Above all, his greatest passion was the time spent with his beloved family.

Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby E. Norman, and his father, James Whigham.

He leaves behind a large and loving family who will miss him dearly, including his devoted wife of 32 years, Kathy Whigham. His children, daughters Elizabeth P. and Diana M. Manship, Jerri Taylor; sons Shane Whigham, Thomas (Tommy) Whigham. His siblings; brother, Judge E. Norman, and sisters Christine Barker and Jean Norman. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Tom's life will be held at:
