Thomas Junior "Sonny" Wilson, 91 years old of Fredonia, KS died peacefully on December 6, 2025 at his daughter Paula White's home in Fredonia, KS. Sonny was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather and brother.

Thomas was born to Tom Wilson and Ida Junita Doyle Wilson on May 11, 1934 in Wichita, KS, the oldest of four brothers. He was raised in Wichita and after high school he met a lovely lady named Betty L. Wells. Sonny and Betty were married on November 13, 195 in Newton, KS. They had been together 48 years when she passed away on February 17, 2001.

Sonny enjoyed family and life itself. He was admired for his vibrant personality and all the love for his family and life.

His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were a gift to him which he cherished. Every moment of his time was spent with them and lots of nephews and nieces. Sonny would say "load up, we're all going to the drive-in movies which was $5.00 a car load. He would say "LET'S GO!!!

In 1961 he moved his family from Wichita, KS to Tulare, CA in 1961 where he worked in the cotton fields and a lot of other farm work. The family moved back to Wichita, KS to be closer to family. After returning to Wichita he worked at Red Ball Towing Service and Auto Inn until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Wilson; sons Richard and Paul; parents Tom and Ida Wilson; brothers Vernie, Richard and Rocky; grandson Richard Gerber; great grandson Isaac White and great granddaughter Sophie.

Sonny is survived by his daughters Brenda Stills and Debra Robins both of Wichita, KS, Nancy Ward and Paula White both of Fredonia, KS; Sandra and Christina Wilson of Wichita, KS; son Michael Wilson of Pixley, CA; brother Billy Wilson of Mayfield, KS; 30 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
