Thomas F. Wisdom

Thomas (Tom) Francis Wisdom, 68, passed away at his home in Sarasota, Florida on January 1st, 2024.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts to his parents Francis (Frank) and Mary (McKenna) Wisdom, Tom was a dedicated professional who worked many years in local restaurant chains in Massachusetts and Florida. He became just as passionate in his second career in real estate.
He enjoyed his partnership with Julie Trimpe as owners of a property and asset management firm serving residential communities in Florida. A lifelong lover of sports, Tom was an avid athlete and enjoyed playing sports as well as watching his children play.
While living in Florida, Tom enjoyed playing golf with Rob and friends. Tom proudly boasted a hole-in-one in May 2023. Throughout his life he was passionate about watching and analyzing his beloved Patriots and Red Sox, and especially looked forward to sporting debates with his younger brother, Jim. He was a kind man who had a gentle demeanor at all times.
He had immense love for his grandchildren: Lydia, Rosalie, Cecelia, Benjamin, Eli, and Steven.
Tom is survived by his son Scott Wisdom and wife Dorothy of Norwell, Massachusetts; his daughter Kristen Wisdom and fiancé Steven Aliano of Cambridge, Massachusetts; and son Patrick Wisdom and wife Hannah of Stoughton, Massachusetts; his former spouse Wendy Wisdom of Rockland MA; his brothers, James, Richard and his wife Fay and his sister Ann MacLeod and her husband Neil and nieces and nephews.
Tommy Wiz, your "monks" will forever remember you, always miss you.
On Friday, January 19th, the family will be holding a celebration of life service from 4:00-7:00 PM at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A celebration of life will also be held in Sarasota on the same day at Evie's Tavern & Grill on Bee Ridge from 4:00-5:00 PM.
