He was born on March 25, 1966 to Thomas Eugene Wright, Sr. and the late Barbara Jean Phillips.
In his early life he worked at the Publix Grocery Store as a butcher and as a manager, in Orlando, Florida. He was a gas station attendant at Thornton's Service Station in Louisville, KY.
Preceding him in death, his mother, Barbara Jean Phillips, one sister, Jocelyn Kiyanna Lewis.
Left to cherish his memories, his father, Thomas Eugene Wright, Sr.; stepmom, Patricia Wright; brother, Ellery Phillips; sisters, Amanda Phillips, Chicarla Williams, Tara Blackston (Shawn), Summer Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation: 11am-1pm Friday, December 10, 2021 at A.D. Porter & Sons Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd., funeral service to follow at 1pm.

Breaks my heart Gene was a School friend all the way through School he was the sweetest person all was happy and friendly he worked right down the Rd from me here in Louisville and we would see him and talk about old times it was good having someone from my hometown to talk with fly high Gene you will be missed prayer for all his family!!
