Tom married Jean Long in Fond du Lac on April 24, 1995.
Tom was employed with the railroad for 35 years, starting with Milwaukee Road. Tom was instrumental in starting up Wisconsin Central and retired at Canadian National.
Tom was avid fisherman and particularly enjoyed time on Lakes Winnebago and Michigan. He loved spending time with his friends at the local tavern and telling stories, especially while enjoying a PBR.
Tom is survived by his wife Jean, son Alex Wright, daughter Hannah Wright, siblings Sandy Biocca, Wally (Clara) Wright and Jim (Cindy) Wright, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
Tom's family invites relatives and friends to a memorial service at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 535 Stow St., Fond du Lac, on Wednesday September 3rd at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
