Thomas Michael Zaruba, 37, of Temple TX, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at a Temple hospital.

 Thomas was born on October 17, 1986 in Temple TX to Gary and Theresa (Jenkins) Zaruba.

 He graduated Belton High School in 2005 and went on to get a degree in electrical engineering and worked in maintenance his entire career. Thomas was a favorite around work. Always cracking a joke and offering help wherever he could.

Thomas married the love of his life, Arrie, in 2022. As a blended family of seven they made their home in Temple, TX. 

Thomas had an adventurous spirit, never able to sit still. Thomas and Arrie took every chance to travel and see new places. Thomas enjoyed getting together with his family for holidays and he especially loved visiting with his mom, Theresa. Thomas was a diehard Texans fans, never missing an opportunity to watch the game or trash talk the Cowboys.

Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Marie Jenkins, and Irene Zaruba. His aunt Dawn Tubbs, and his niece Jaylyn Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Arrie Zaruba and their 5 children, Meredith, Noah, Levi, Wilson, and John, his parents, Gary and Theresa Zaruba, his brothers Christopher (Kallin) of Temple TX, Jonathon (Katlynn) of Ocean Springs, MS, sisters, Stephanie Pregler (Travis) of Temple, TX Faythe Tubbs, and Andrea Hart of Oklahoma, his grandfather John Zaruba of Hamilton, TX, his best friend Felix Mungia, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 1 PM to 3 PM following visitation a Celebration of life will start at 3PM with Terry Tubbs officiating at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services are in the care of Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
