Tyson moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina at the tender age of seven. Tyson attended and graduated from E. E. Smith High School, 1987-1990. Along the path of life Tyson became a father to a beautiful baby girl, Tashee McMorries, and they moved back to Fayetteville, North Carolina. During his time at Honda, he and the late Betty Lizette welcomed Tyson Jase McMorries into the world.
Tyson loved to dance and cracking jokes with his brother Gene. They would playfully bully their 'Lil sister Mia Perry, known as PO.
He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Rhoderick Eugene McMorries, his special friend and mother of his son, Betty Lezette, and a host of other close relatives.
