Thurman Ray Conner, Jr., 65, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.
Thurman, lovingly known as Ray to friends and family, was born on August 15, 1959, to Thurman Conner, Sr. and Hazel Conner in Aulander, North Carolina.
Ray was married to his wife, Doris, for 49 years, and together they built a life and family filled with love and beautiful memories.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Conner; his son, Robert S. Conner; his grandchildren, Robert M. Conner, Shelby Keller, and Anna-Rosa Conner; his great-grandchildren, Easton Conner, Abram Conner, Bella Conner, and Cole Keller; his mother, Hazel Conner; his brothers, Brian Conner and Landon Conner; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thurman Conner, Sr.; his sister, April Bradshaw; and his brothers, Linwood Conner and Leonard Conner.
Ray will be remembered as a strong, loving, and passionate man who was deeply devoted to his friends and family. He enjoyed westerns, racing cars, and working with his hands in any way from woodworking to working on engines. One of his greatest passions was spending time with and caring for the family he created.
The family has chosen to honor Rays memory privately. He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
