Tiffany Delin Allen, 40, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Canyon, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, due to peritonitis.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon, TX. Memorial Services will follow at 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at First Baptist Church, Amarillo, with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Tiffany was born November 10, 1985, to Patrick and Shelly Allen in Canyon, Texas. She had been a member of First Baptist Canyon and Austin Stone Church.
Tiffany attended West Texas A&M University and Samford University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Family Studies. She began her career at an eating disorder clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, before returning to Texas to work in treatment facilities. Driven by her passion to help others, she pursued her Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Texas. While earning her degree, she served as a teaching assistant and was honored as Social Work Student of the Year. She opened her own practice, Better Together, in Austin, specializing in grief counseling, particularly for children.
After her father passed away in 2021, Tiffany discovered a love for quilting. She and her mother spent countless hours sewing together, both in person and via Zoom. She was a natural at color, piecing, long-arming, and teaching others to quilt. In 2025, following the tragedy in Kerrville, she and her mother founded Wrap Texas in Love, collecting over 1,000 quilts from across the United States to comfort the campers. Together, they also started the podcast "The Seams Between Us," sharing stories about life and quilting. Known as the "Sassy Stitcher," Tiffany embodied a bright and vivacious personality. She was passionate about Taylor Swift and could talk for hours about all things Taylor. Her other great love was Texas Football…she lived for game days, cheering "Hook 'em Horns" and "Texas Fight" with her friends while wearing her vintage UT sweater.
Tiffany will forever be known as a compassionate healer, a light, creative spirit, sassy, and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and Texas Sports Fanatic. In the words of Taylor Swift, “I know you were on my side even when I was wrong….And I love you for giving me your eyes...For staying back and watching me shine, and I didn't know if you knew, so I'm taking this chance to say…That I had the best day with you today.” She left this earth in the Best Era, the last two months, with her practice thriving, knowing her worth, loving life, and looking forward to becoming an adjunct professor in Social Work for the University of Texas. She will be missed by all who crossed her path in her short time on earth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick "Pat" Allen, and her grandparents Chester Butler, Ted, and Berniece Allen.
She is survived by her mother, Shelly Allen of Canyon; brother Tyler Allen and wife Caity; grandmother, Shirley Butler of Claude; nieces Alexandra "Ally" Allen and Emerson Allen; nephews Theodore "Theo" Allen and James Patrick Allen, all of Amarillo; aunts and uncles Kyle and Desha Butler of Claude, Kelvin and Cindy Allen of Canyon, Tom Allen of Amarillo, Ron Allen of Amarillo, Tammie and Larry Gray of Amarillo, and Sharon Harvell of Canyon; along with numerous cousins and dear friends she considered family. The family will receive friends Monday, December 29 from 5:30- 7:00pm, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
