LIMA -- Tiffany Starr Martin, 44 of Lima, passed away August 29, 2024.
Tiffany was born July 16, 1980 in Lima to Wash E. Martin and Shirley J. Chitman; her father preceded her in death and her mother survives her in Lima. Tiffany was a 1998 graduate of Lima Senior High School and she went on to further her education by earning multiple associates degrees from The Ohio State University. She worked many jobs including a phlebotomist, a nurse and, most recently, intake at the Clerk of Courts in Columbus. Tiffany was full of life and the life of the party. If you know her, you know she is going to hit you with the "other than that". Tiffany enjoyed cooking, listening to R&B and she was as two-step master. Most of all, she loved her family; especially her children and nanas. Tiffany was a loyal friend, had a smile so bright she could light up the room and she will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her mother, Tiffany is survived by her children, Deiondray M. Martin, Keshe M. Martin, Destini D. Turner and Deshanti A. Turner; grandchildren, Deion Martin, Jamar Mattox, Jr., Deiondray Martin, Jr., and Amari Martin; siblings, Quinton L. Martin, Farrah M. Martin, Quintel R. Chitman and Shaniesha Jones; best friend, Tanekia "Pooh" Wilson; special friend, George Elliott, II; close friends, Tameka Colts and Danielle Tyson and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Quincy C. Chitman; sister, Teranique L. Chitman; maternal grandparents, Lonnie Chitman, Sr. and Ethel L. Edge-Chitman and her paternal grandparents, Kemp Martin and Ruth Thompson-Martin.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at New Morning Star Baptist Church, 1904 S. Main St., Lima, OH 45804 with Rev. Arnold Manley to officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
