June 10, 1946 – January 11, 2025
On January 11, 2025 Tildy Griego peacefully departed this earth after a long illness. She was at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, surrounded by her beloved family.
Tildy’s journey began on June 10, 1946. She was the 5 th of 9 children born to Saturnino and Eva Lueras.
Tildy is remembered warmly as being a kind and loving woman who could make everyone laugh and smile. She enjoyed music and found great joy in spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love remains with them forever.
Tildy was preceded in death by her Father Saturnino Lueras; Mother Eva Lueras; Sisters Caroline, Emily, Annabelle, and Regina.
Tildy is lovingly survived by her husband of 60 years, Danny Griego; Daughter Juanita Lucero and husband Joe; Son Tim Griego. Granddaughters Brianne Lucero and Leanne Lucero; Grandson Clayton Lucero and wife Alisha; Great-grandchildren Amara Lucero and Damon Lucero. Tildy also leaves behind her Siblings Theresa, Antonia, Beatrice and Robert as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rest in peace our beloved Tildy, you will be greatly missed.
