Tilson Burgos, age 83, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Born on April 9, 1942, in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, he was the cherished son of Francisco Burgos, who raised him with love, faith, and a strong sense of community.
Tilson was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and boundless generosity. He was a devoted brother and a guiding presence in the lives of his many nieces and nephews. His love extended far beyond his family—Tilson was a cherished member of his church family, where he found great joy in fellowship, worship, and service.
His bond with Father Mark Riley was one of profound friendship and spiritual connection, a testament to the love and loyalty Tilson so freely gave to those around him. Known for his dedication to uplifting others, Tilson found purpose in helping his community and took pride in caring for his beloved church, St. Michael Archangel Church, where he spent countless hours tending to its grounds and ensuring it remained a place of peace and beauty.
To know Tilson was to be touched by his kindness, humility, and unwavering faith. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
Tilson will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he graced.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed immediately by a Christian Mass at 7:00 PM, at St. Michael Archangel Church, 3114 Scranton Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.
