Tim and Frances Kipp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brown Funeral Home - Wilmington on Dec. 31, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Timothy and Frances Kipp announce their passing on December 23, 2025, in a tragic auto accident while traveling to their winter home in Florida. They were inseparable for their 44 years of marriage. They loved each other well! It is very fitting for them to enter eternity with their Lord and Savior together.

Our parents, Tim and Frances, devoted their lives to loving and spending time with their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and large extended family. Tim and Frances enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. visiting all 50 states while spending time with their children and grandchildren. Additionally, they had the opportunity to see many parts of the world visiting their son in the Air Force. Tim and Frances were very active in the community of Xenia as well as Stuart, Florida loving and serving those they knew as well as supporting others who just needed help.

Tim and Frances were people you could count on – steady, generous, and quietly present in the ways that really matter. They helped without hesitation, showed up without needing to be asked, and offered a kind of care that was practical, dependable, and sincere. Their presence brought steadiness to the lives around them, and that steadiness mattered. Their loss leaves a real and lasting absence. It is the grief of losing people who were simply there – not occasionally, not loudly, but consistently. People whose reliability was woven into the foundation of our lives, whose care held things together in ways that are only fully felt when it is gone. We remember our parents Tim and Frances with deep respect and gratitude for who they were, how they loved, how they lived, and the good they placed into the lives of so many.

Timothy Ellis Kipp was born on February 25, 1942 to John and Dorothy Kipp in Xenia, Ohio. He graduated from Xenia High School in 1960. Tim was immediately employed after high school with Eaveys in Xenia (later became Supervalu) where he spent his entire career. Tim retired in 2003 as building maintenance and plant supervisor.

Tim loved all things outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and bicyclist. He enjoyed camping, boating, corn hole, shuffle board, playing cards and Blue Grass music. Tim was quite the "MacGyver" always fixing, creating and problem solving. He was known for his quick wit and sharing humorous stories. He and Fran were supporters of any sports and events- showing up, cheering and encouraging. They were the best team as they loved to serve others together.

Frances Alayne (Creamer) Kipp was born on August 19, 1942 at home in Caesarscreek Township, Ohio to James and Iola (Burr) Creamer.

She graduated from Jefferson Township High School (Bowersville) in 1960. She was also immediately employed after high school with Eaveys in Xenia (later became Supervalu) where she spent her entire career. She retired as a dairy buyer in 2003 after 43 years of service.

Frances loved to keep busy working in her home and yard- cooking, baking and gardening. Like Tim, she enjoyed the outdoors- walking, boating, camping, biking, fishing, and playing games. Frances chose to put others first. She dedicated her life to serving her family, church, friends, and neighbors and especially providing care to her mother. She unselfishly GAVE whenever an opportunity was presented… never wanting to be noticed.

They were members of the First Church of Christ in Xenia and attended Stuart Church of Christ in Florida during the winter months.

Tim and Frances are survived by their loving children, Tammy (Tom) Bolka of Xenia, Rodney (Rose Chang) Brown of Davenport, Florida, Tammy Burns of Xenia, Kim Kipp of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, and Chris Kipp of Fortine, Montana, their grandchildren, Andrew (Liz) Bolka of Xenia, Alex (Lexi) Bolka of Kettering, Zac (Keven) Looper of Cheney, Washington, Jaidyn Brown of Waitsburg, Washington, Brian Kipp of Astoria, New York, Jenny (Brent) Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada, Brandon Kipp of Binghamton, New York, Dustin Burns of Xenia, Brandon Burns of Xenia, Erin Burns of Newport, Kentucky, Jake Burns of Xenia, Caleb Burns of Xenia, Marshall Kipp of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Bailey (Tyler) Cummings of Eureka, Montana, Mikayla Kipp of Kila, Montana and CJ Kipp of Eureka, Montana, great-grandchildren, Forrest, Zander and Aubree Looper, Layla and Jesse Cummings, and Hudson and Addison Alayne Bolka – her grandmother Frances's namesake.

They are also survived by Frances's mother Iola Creamer of Jamestown, her siblings, Mary (Mike) Dye of Washington Court House, Betheen (Ken) Struewing of Yellow Springs, David (Sandy) Creamer of Xenia, Lisa (Robert) Robinson of Washington Court House and brother -in- law, Ron Smith of Mt. Orab, cousins Kenny and Linda Kipp in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Tim and Frances were preceded in death by Tim's father, John Kipp, his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Charles Hart, his sister, Nancy Jean Hart, Frances's father, James Creamer, her sister, Myrna Smith, their son John Kipp and great granddaughter Madison Bolka.

A joint viewing will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the First Church of Christ in Xenia. Funeral services for both will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2026 at the church followed by graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery in Xenia.

So sorry to hear about this terrible accident. We raised children together, for years, spent many hours and days at various sporting events together and had a good time with these friends for years. They were both so kind, so funny and we were always glad to see and chat with them at various events around Xenia. They will be missed. Sincere condolences to the family for your loss.
