Mr. Tim Anders

Funeral services for Mr. Tim Anders, 66, of Carthage, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Hawthorn Funeral Chapel with Bro. James McRight and Bro. Terry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Monday night at Hawthorns.
Mr. Timothy Lynn Anders was born September 14, 1959, in Carthage, Texas. He passed this life peacefully October 18, 2025, in Carthage, Texas. Tim was one of three children born to the marriage of Betty Scarbrough and Billy Anders. He was raised and schooled in Carthage graduating with the Bulldog class of 1978.
Tim began his career as a welder and worked as a land manager for Cassity Jones in Long Branch. Tim loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing guitar, singing and cooking for his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Anders.
Mr. Anders is survived by his loving mother, Betty Wiegman and husband Don of Carthage; devoted children, sons, Joe Ross Anders and wife Kristyn of Arkansas, Shelby Lynn Anders and wife Whitley of Carrollton, daughter, Jacqueline Bliss Sloan of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Terri Hudson and husband Jerry "Bubba" of Carthage, Tina Campbell of Carthage; grandchildren, Kason Lane Anders, Emmett Joe Anders, Amelia Anders, Ryan Lindsey, Jocelyn Lindsey; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Joe Ross Anders, Shelby Lynn Anders, Jerry "Bubba" Hudson, Brian Hudson, Lynn Poss and Michael Gary.
