Tim Adam Barnes

Timothy A. "Tim" Barnes, age 40 of Amanda, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was born on October 26, 1985, in Lancaster, the son of Roger and Linda (Walters) Barnes. Tim was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School and the Eastland Career Center. As a young man, Tim attended the Frontline Church of God. He loved hiking and the outdoors, especially time spent at Clearcreek Metro Park. Tim appreciated everything about nature. He was a hard worker who loved his family deeply.

He is survived by his lifelong fiancee, Skylar Prentice; daughters, Isla and Willow Barnes; parents, Roger and Linda Barnes, of Lancaster; sisters, Carrie (Matt) Jividen, of Crown City, Kristen Stebleton, of Circleville, Rachael (Nathan) Blankenship, of Amanda, Morgan (Jeremy) Hobson, of Lancaster, Alexis (Adi) Cruz, of MO, Elizabeth Barnes, of Lancaster, Lauren (Lance) Wilson, of Lancaster, and Grace Barnes, of Chillicothe; brothers, Caleb Barnes, of Lancaster, Benjamin Barnes, of TX, and Liam Barnes, of Amanda; many, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother in law, Joshua Stebleton; grandparents, Russell and Iantha Barnes and Robert E. Walters and Evelyn Reed.

At Tim's request, a private celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of his family. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral & Cremation Service, Amanda.
