Tim McCafferty of Nixa, Missouri, passed away surrounded by those who loved him. He was born to Jerry and Hazel (Stinman) McCafferty and was a 1987 graduate of Nixa High School.

Tim grew up working on the family farm and loved riding the tractor with his dad. He was always willing to help with the combine, bulldozer, or whatever was needed. He was devoted to his family, especially his parents, siblings, and daughter.

Tim was saved at a young age at Calvary Bible Church in Nixa. He had a strong faith and a big heart. He loved the outdoors—fishing, grabbing sucker fish, gigging, and bass fishing at Table Rock Lake. In the winter, he enjoyed cutting firewood.

Tim was a master carpenter working in that line of work for 35 years. He was also a skilled mechanic and enjoyed working on his Corvette. He had a talent for math and loved gardening, always happy to share his produce with others.

Tim will be remembered for his kindness, hard work, and love for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Tim is survived by his parents, Jerry and Hazel McCafferty; one brother, Jeff McCafferty; one sister, Pam (Von) Wilder; one daughter, Hannah McCafferty.

Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri with Colter Rantz officiating.  Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 a.m.  A graveside service will follow the funeral service at Delaware Cemetery, Nixa, Missouri.
