Tim William Meier, 65 of Cicero died unexpectedly on Friday, May 30, 2025 at his home. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden passing.

Tim was born to his loving parents, Warren and Mary Meier of North Riverside, Illinois on October 2, 1959.

Tim enlisted in the military and served as a military police officer until he was medically discharged. He's worn a lot of different hats in his life, but his time in the military was what he was most proud of aside from being a dad.

Tim enjoyed being in nature. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. He was a collector of all things survival related. He loved to talk, tell stories, cook, and tinker with things. He loved his family and his favorite times were spent with them.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary Meier.

Tim is survived and missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Cheryl; his children, Shawna (Eddie) Burke, Timothy (Brooklynn) Meier, Ryan (Kristen) Meier, Allie Meier, and Aimee (Hunter) McGuire; his grandchildren Kaylie (Austin) Barr, Alyssa Burke, Aidan Zaso, Addyson Meier, Anthony Meier, Dominic Meier, Lucas Meier, Jessika (Elliott) Bethel, Bryan Hinton, Synthea Kuppens, Peter Kuppens, and Elizabeth Kuppens; and his great-grandchildren Avery Barr, Ava O’Flinn, Vada Kuppens, and baby boy Kuppens due in August. Tim also leaves behind his older sisters Barb (Ken) Price and Deb (Bill) Dykema along with his beloved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Noblesville. Family and friends will be welcomed at 6:00 with the service starting at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to donate to help cover the costs for the family that would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be sent to 29334 N State Road 37, Elwood, Indiana, 46036.
