I am saddened to hear of Tim's passing. I only met Tim a few times when I was a rebellious teenager. But that didn't stop Tim from treating me with the utmost kindness and respect. Thank you Tim, for being kind to a confused & somewhat lost kid during his formative years as a friend of your son, Michael.
My heartfelt condolences go out to the whole family. Death is such a strange and mysterious thing. An ending. A new beginning. Happiness for the end of suffering. Sadness for the loss of someone you hold dear, someone you love. The one thing I have learned from the passing of those that I have cared for is the small, but real, consolation that they continue to live on in the hearts of those they shared themselves with during the ride. Hold that person dear to your heart.
Much love to you all.

I am so sad to hear of Tim's illness and death. He was a mentor to me, a co-author, and a friend. He reached out to me at a time of great sorrow in my own life and connected me with Elizabeth whose guidance through the early rocky days of my great loss gave me strength to try and move forward. I will always be greatful to Tim for that. He was always cheerful, always energetic and full of excitement about what could be. God bless all of you at this time. Donde Ashmos Plowman

Mary Jo and John Culver are deeply saddened to learn of Tim's death. He was such a special man. We remember the wonderful humorous minutes he wrote for The Reunion Group and the delicious Copper River Salmon he served for Dinners for Eight. Such a gracious host. We will miss him greatly.

It is with great fondness that I remember my time in Dr Ruefli's class. He had a wonderful ability to translate very abstract ideas into real world, concrete examples. His knowledge and his ability to impart it to others will be greatly missed.
