Osborne, KS, passed away on December 11, 2025. Tim was born on April 4, 1962, to Charles Seifert and Phyllis Seifert (Walker) in

Tim grew up in
Harper, KS, and graduated from Chaparral High School in the Class of 1980. After high school, he worked at DewEze Manufacturing in Harper while serving as a reserve police officer for the City of Harper. In 1984, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps.
He honorably served his country for four years of active duty before returning home to help care for the family farm when his father underwent heart surgery. He continued serving two more years in the reserves. During his service, Tim attended boot camp in San Diego, CA and deployed to Hollyhocks, Scotland aboard the USS Hunley. After serving on the USS Hunley, he was deployed to Okinawa, Japan. He received numerous commendations and medals for his service. In 1990, Tim was honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps.
Tim met his future wife, Terri, while deployed on the USS Hunley. They began dating three years later after both were honorably discharged from the US Navy and USMC. At that time, Tim was working for the Harper/Anthony Co-op and started as an EMT.
Tim and Terri married in 1990 and moved to
Pratt, KS, where Tim was employed by the Pratt County EMS. In 1993, he suffered a catastrophic fall from a roof, 27 feet onto concrete, which altered the course of his ambitions. He began working for a gas meter company during the day while taking night classes to complete prerequisites for Physician Assistant (PA) school. In 1995, Tim and Terri welcomed their first daughter, Jessica. Tim entered PA school in 1996 and graduated in 1999. He then started working with Dr. Brown at Sharp Memorial Clinic in
Osborne, KS, and also worked in the emergency room at Osborne County Memorial Hospital.
In 2000, Tim and Terri welcomed their second daughter, Sarah, and in 2002, their third daughter, Charlie. Tim worked for Dr. Brown for 20 years before moving to Phillips County Hospital, where he served in the emergency department and clinic for six years until his cancer diagnosis.
Tim enjoyed caring for his patients. He also enjoyed dirt work, mechanics, plumbing, electrical projects, and above all, problem-solving. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a Hunter Safety Educator, and a member of the Osborne Gun Club, American Legion, and Marine Corps League. He cherished summers in the mountains of Colorado, with his family. Strong in his faith, Tim attended Bible Baptist Church in Osborne, Kansas and delighted in sharing God's message with everyone he met.
