Timara Lee Mincher

Timara Lee Mincher, 48, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, June 23, 2025.

She was born on June 21, 1977, the beloved daughter of Rae Michele Mincher and the late William Riley Mincher Sr.

Timara was a kind and gentle soul who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, attending activities at Stepping Stones, watching game shows, and volunteering her time at the Arnettsville Community Center. She had a generous heart and a warm smile that could brighten any room. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her daughter, Samantha.

In addition to her mother, Timara is survived by her loving daughter, Samantha Rae Mincher; her sister, Shawna Mararae Mincher-Powell; and her aunts, Joan Miller, Linda Burr, Terry Barker, Maylee Burnside, Barbara Mincher, Joyce Mincher, and Marsha Mincher. She also leaves behind her uncles, Charles Lemley Jr. and Thomas Burr, two nieces, Alexandra Powell, Raelynn Broadwater, nephew, Michael Broadwater and other extended family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Riley Mincher Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Martha Lemley Sr.; her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Kathryn Mincher; brother-in-law, Robert Lee Powell and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who held special places in her heart.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Arnettsville Community Center, 4120 Fairmont Rd., Morgantown, WV 26505.
