Timmy Boone

Timmy Boone, 66, of Asheboro passed away January 4, 2026, at his home.

A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Boone Family Cemetery.

Born to the late John Raeford and Estherleen Boone on September 19, 1959 in Randolph County, Timmy was a great brother and uncle. He loved giving out candy and cookies to his family. Some of his hobbies included doing yard work, tinkering around the house, and doing puzzles. He would do anything he could to help others.

In addition to his parents, Timmy is preceded in death by his brother, Harold Boone.

Survivors include his brothers, Stevie Boone (Penny), J.R. Boone; sisters, Joyce Lucas, Carol Lamb (Ken); biological son, Steve Turner; nieces, Jenna Lewis (Bobby), April Rice (Kevin), Cathy Wall (Dale), Debbie Wright (Mark), Donna Hunt; nephews, Justin Boone (Logan), Steven Boone (Sonya), Jason Lucas (Tracey); sister in law, Betty Boone, Brenda Boone, Wanda Boone; friend, Mae Cagle; great nieces and nephews, Raven, Victoria, Braxton, Codey, Addy, Khaleesi, Emory, Jonathan, Tyler, Jacob, Katie, Sadie, and Haulston.

The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the service.
