On October 27, 2025, he signed off from this earthly gig after an inspiring set of anchoring his soul through terminal cancer, leaving his admirers requesting an encore.

A maestro of merriment, Timmy's job was his joy. He wielded his drumsticks like a magician's wand, casting spells that opened doors for rock legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd. If Southern Rock were a ship, Timmy was its rhythmic captain, steering audiences through seas of sound with precision and passion.

Timmy did more than just keep time; he created a lifetime of memories jamming with friends and strangers alike. Known for having a good time that rivaled bourbon on a summer night, he spread joy and became a beacon of light to everyone he encountered. His music was his message, belonging to a timeless congregation he dubbed "the church of music."

But perhaps his most extraordinary composition was orchestrating a life as an astonishing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. The notes of love played louder than any cymbal crash.

Survived by his loving wife, Vera, his children Teddy Edwards, Tina Mack (Robert), Tonya Morris, Brandy and his favorite son-in-law Brooks and grandchildren Brandon, Calvin, Breana, Hannah, Alexis, Serena, Trenton and Savannah comrades in rhythm and resounding pals, Timmy leaves behind not just a silence but a symphony of stories waiting to be retold.
