Timmy Eugene Gearlds, 59, of Shreveport, LA passed away Tuesday, June 17th, at his place of residence. Timmy was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 14, 1965, a son of the late Judy Ann (Rich) and Ronald Eugene Gearlds.
Timmy graduated from Tompkinsville High School in Tompkinsville, KY. Timmy attended a vocational school, in Shreveport, LA, where he studied and learned the trade of welding. For work, Timmy was a welder at Little Joe's Welding in Shreveport, LA.
Timmy was of the Baptist faith and had made a profession of being saved by his faith in Jesus.
Timmy is survived by a daughter, Kristin Gearlds, of Shreveport, LA; a son,Tyler Gearlds, of New York; by 1 Grandchild, by a sister, Ann McQueen, of McCordsville, Indiana, by Uncles and Aunts, Dale and Betty Rich, Tip and Sue Gearlds, all of Tompkinsville, KY, by several nieces, nephews, and extended family; along with many work friends.
A graveside service for Timmy will be held at Freedom #2 Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY on Thursday June 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Bro. Gary Emberton will be conducting the service. Burial to follow. A funeral procession will be leaving Yokley Trible Funeral Home, to go to the cemetery, at 11:30 AM on the day of the service. All those who wish to be part of the procession are asked to be at the funeral home by 11:15 AM. There will be no visitation.
Tyler Gearlds, Michael McQueen, Kerry Dale Rich, Ronnie Lee Gearlds, Perry Pitman & David "Red" Marshall will serve as pallbearers.
Donations to the cemetery are being accepted in remembrance of Timmy in lieu of flowers. Donations can be made at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
