Mr. Timonthy Bryan Ivey, age 60, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Tim was born July 23, 1965, in Dillon, South Carolina. He was the youngest son of Carroll Bryan Ivey and the late Yvonne Phillips Melton. After moving to Laurens County in 1976, Tim graduated from Dublin High School with the Class of 1983. He spent many years working as an insurance agent and also worked in the family business alongside his stepfather, the late Glynn Melton.

Tim put many miles on a Harley-Davidson riding with a close crew of friends. He also enjoyed golfing with his buddies and somehow managed to score a hole-in-one at Riverview Golf Course. A skilled craftsman, Tim had a passion for bladesmithing. He will be remembered by many for his contributions to the local recovery community.

Tim is survived by his father, C. B. Ivey of Lakeview, South Carolina; a brother, John Ivey (Evonne) of Dublin; two nieces, Caroline Campbell (Nick) and Gracie Brandt (Aaron); great-nieces and a nephew; a host of cousins; and his loyal canine companion, Lottie.

Tim’s family hopes all who were touched by his contributions to the community/their recovery will honor his memory by living happy, joyous, and free.

The family will hold a small private memorial service in his memory at a later date.
