Timothy Baganz Obituary

Timothy Baganz, 74, peacefully passed away on April 22, 2024, in Madison, WI surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Sturgeon Bay and spent his final years in Florence County with his beloved wife Tracy. Tim was fondly named “Grandpa Him” by his granddaughter Vivian, with whom he cherished spending time.  He was known for his love of the outdoors and enjoyed the visits from various wildlife in the area. His infectious smile & sense of humor brought sunshine everywhere.

 

Tim had a fulfilling career as a chef, working at various supper clubs and later at the Brown County jail. His passion for cooking brought joy to many throughout his career.  More recently Tim worked alongside Tracy operating their successful online eBay business.  

 

He is survived by his beloved wife Tracy of 27 years, daughters Heidi Destree (Jerry) and Heather Baganz, granddaughter Vivian, siblings Rachel, Mark (Beth) Baganz, Miriam (Joel) Ehlert, Peter (Allison) Baganz, and several nieces and nephews. Timothy was preceded in death by his father and mother,Theophil and Vivian Baganz, brother James, and nieces Pam and Brittany.

 

A memorial service will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church in Green Bay on Saturday, May 18 at 11am to honor and remember the life of Timothy Baganz.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in his name.
