Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Center - ElkhartTimothy Allen Ball, 73, of Bristol, IN, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.
Tim was born on December 7, 1951, in Elkhart, IN, to James and Marjorie Ball. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Pamela (Tripp) Ball, who passed away on June 5, 2004. He married Jennifer (Campbell) Ball on April 19, 2008, who survives him.
Tim had a 30+ year career in sales, retiring as the Vice President of Sales at Tredit Tire and Wheel. A lifelong tennis enthusiast, he moved on to pickleball, where his laughter was as quick as his game. Tim thrived to become a grill-master, gathering family and friends, sharing food, stories, and grilling wisdom. His lifelong appreciation for music blossomed in retirement into a true passion, building custom, hand-crafted speakers in his woodshop and listening to his newest creation for hours. He was also the family’s craftsman, building cabinets, lights, and tables for those he loved. Tim’s warmth, quick wit, and love for his family will be deeply missed—and joyfully remembered—by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ball and his beloved dogs Hank and Piper of Bristol, IN; his daughter, Megan (Andrew) Martin of Granger, IN; his sons, Ryan (Edna) Ball of Lakeway, TX, and Eric (Audrey) Ball of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren Abigail, Evelyn, Harvey, and Renley.
A gathering will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Raber Golf Course Pavilion, where there will be a time of sharing from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514.
