Timothy Barnett Obituary
Born in Landstuhl, Germany, he was a son of Elizabeth Fillmore Hauptman and Jamie Cliff Barnett.
Timothy was a seventh-grade honors student at Alice Drive Middle School. He loved baseball, was a yellow belt in Karate at the Academy of Martial Arts and an avid saxophonist.
Surviving are his father and fiancée Elizabeth Kelsey; his mother and Bonus Dad Geoffrey Clayton Hauptman; five brothers, Jaiden Barnett, Travis Barnett, Jamie "J.J." Barnett, Grayson Hauptman and Landon Hauptman; a sister, Leigha Hauptman; maternal grandparents, Paul & Patricia Fillmore; paternal grandparents, Cliff & Debi Barnett, Jill Barnett, Jeryl & Debbie Hauptman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family invites you to help celebrate Tim's life in a candlelight vigil at Patriot Park, 200 General Drive, Sumter, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 7:30 pm.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother and bonus dad.

I remember Timothy with his blonde hair toddling alongside Travis at Awanas way back in Germany. He was a chubby faced little love. I am so sorry for your loss.

My son Blake Simon had a few classes with Tim and they rode the bus together. He was one of his closest friends in Sumter. He sounded like an amazing person. He will deeply missed.
