Ocala - Timothy Dwayne Barthlow of Ocala, age 53, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2024 at West Marion Hospital. Tim was born in Ranson, West Virginia and grew up in Middleburg, Virginia, San Antonio, Texas, and Ocala, Florida where he graduated from North Marion High School.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Thomas Barthlow, Sr., his mother Mildred White Barthlow Rodgers and his step-father whom he loved dearly for making him an avid fan of the Florida Gators, Walter Rodgers of Citra, Florida.

Tim is survived by his wife of eight years, Wendy Hobbs Gleaton, his brothers Anthony Scott Barthlow of McIntosh FL, Charles Thomas Barthlow, Jr., sister in law Rebecca Barthlow of Anthony, Florida, and their children Victoria Hilgenfelt of Gainesville, Florida, Scarlett Barthlow of Glade Spring, Virginia, and Charles Thomas Barthlow, III of Orlando.

Tim earned an Associate of Science degree from Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia, where he met his wife Wendy. Timothy earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Tim worked for the state of Florida with the Department of Children and Families for 27 years and retired as Operations Management Consultant in 2021.

Visitation will be held on February 24th, 2024 at Baldwin Brothers funeral home at 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd., #200, Ocala, FL 34470 at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of a Life Well Lived service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Kidney Fund in Tim's honor.
