Timothy John Bowen, a beacon of generosity and unwavering faith, passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 65 in Muskego, Wisconsin. Born on February 9, 1960, in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, Tim's early years were filled with the love and guidance of his parents, the late Dorothy and Jerry Bowen, and his late brother, Dennis. His surviving brother, Dan, along with his wife Kathy, remembers Tim as a pillar of strength and compassion within the family.
A proud alumnus of Greenfield High School, class of 1978, Tim carried the spirit of determination and excellence through his academic journey. He furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which paved the way for a life dedicated to service and community involvement.
Tim's unwavering commitment to his Christian faith was evident in his active membership at St. Leonard's Church. His dedication extended beyond the walls of the church, as he was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus from April 2004 until his passing. Tim's passion for helping others shone brightly through his involvement in numerous food drives for various churches and his tireless efforts in organizing fundraising events, particularly for the Special Olympics. He was a true embodiment of what it means to live a faith-filled life, always putting the needs of others before his own.
An avid golfer, Tim found joy in the serene greens and fairways, a pastime he cherished deeply. His enthusiasm for sports was also reflected in his unwavering support for the Chicago Bears, a team he followed with great fervor. Friends and family will remember the excitement and lively discussions that accompanied each game and tournament.
Those who knew Tim will forever recall his loving nature and his generous spirit. He had the remarkable ability to uplift those around him, leaving a lasting impact on every life he touched. Tim's legacy is one of kindness, charity, and a profound sense of devotion to his faith and community.
As we bid farewell to Timothy John Bowen, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love.
