On Friday, November 21, 2025, Timothy Edward Brown, age 64, passed away at NOVANT Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. He was born on August 7, 1961, in Trenton, NJ, and was the son of the late James Lewis and Sara Jane Wood Brown of Ansonville. He battled Diabetes for over half of his life and all the challenges that came with the disease. Although he came from a large family, he was content with his small and simple lifestyle.

Tim enjoyed junk talking and making people laugh, he loved dogs, gardening, fishing, and his scooters. He enjoyed playing lottery scratch offs, and loved winning. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, but most importantly he loved his Lord and Saviour.

Tim was well known for his handyman work: carpentry, lawn care, small engine repair, painting, etc. He was a hard worker, and praised highly for the quality of work he did.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Timothy Edward Brown, Jr. (TJ), & wife, Melanie; his grandchildren, Treavor Brown and (Fiancée Emily), Dillian Wessels-Brown (Nichole) and Austin Wessels-Brown (Rosa); and his great-grandchildren: Jordan, Paisley, Ivey, and Liam.

Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Jimmy Brown (Karen), Janice Cassidy, Jackie Harris (Phil), Judy Cook (Doug), Frank Brown and Mary Preslar (Jeff); and lots of amazing nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tim Kiker and Billy Griffin, who were more like brothers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Brown and brother-in-law, Rick Cassidy.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Harmony Community Church with Rev. Rocky Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the church on Tuesday.
