Timothy L. Buss of Cozad passed away Friday June 14, 2024 at his home at the age of 59. Tim was born October 30, 1964, in Cozad to Elvin and Imogene (Hansen) Buss. Tim grew up in Cozad and graduated from Cozad High School. After school Tim worked on his family farm. Later he started his own tree business and worked various other jobs throughout his life. Tim was a handyman and there were very few things that he could not build or fix. In 1985 he met his life partner Kimberly Warta with whom he spent the last 39 years. They had 3 children Andrew, Misty, and Megan.

Tim was a man who continuously looked at the bright side of things in life. He approached life with tenacity, humor, and no fear. He was a man that would extend his hand to help anyone who needed it. He believed in working hard and manners were a must. Although he was a hard worker, he never forgot to have a little bit of fun along the way. He enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing, and watching football. Often you would find him outside listening to country music, taking a country cruise through the hills, or having drinks and laughing with his friends and family. His laugh is something that will not soon be forgotten. Tim loved his family fiercely and they were his greatest joy in life.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Grandma Hansen, daughter Misty, brother Marc, sister Lois, brother-in-law Tom, and many friends who were like family.

Tim is survived by life partner Kimberly. Children Andrew (Kristi) Buss, Megan (David) Buss, Stepson Eli (Kristen) Bennett, 10 Grandchildren Shaylee, Allyson, Clancy, Quintin, Miles, Sawyer, and Anthony Buss. Libby, Lola, and Lenor Bennett. Sister Cindy (Dan) Finnegan all of Cozad. 2 nieces Jessica Finnegan, Stephanie Finnegan, 2 nephews Jason Finnegan, and Mathew Shea. As well as son by choice Nick Pickering.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Tim's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no service.
