It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Timothy R. Campbell III, 18, of Cumberland, formerly of Warwick, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 13, 2024, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born in Providence, Timothy was the beloved son of Nicole (Doyle) DiMeo, of Warwick, and Timothy Campbell II and his wife, Desiree, also of Warwick. He had recently been residing with his grandmother, Robyn Federici, in Cumberland, after previously living in Warwick. Timothy is also survived by his aunt, Michaela Doyle of Cumberland, his paternal grandmother, Brenda Palmer of Warwick, and his maternal grandfather, David Doyle of Cranston. He was the adored brother of Angelo DiMeo, Caleb Guilmette. He also leaves behind his step-siblings, Shawn, David, Ryan, Destinee, and Lily Reynolds, as well as Rachel Campbell; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. His devoted girlfriend, Giuliana DiCarlo of Scituate, along with her loving family, also mourns his loss.
Timothy had a deep bond with his cherished dogs, Frank and Allie, who brought him endless comfort and joy.
Known affectionately as "Mr. Tim," Timothy was employed as a Teacher Assistant with the West Bay Collaborative. Having overcome numerous challenges throughout his life, Timothy was a true example of resilience and strength. A 2024 graduate of the West Bay Collaborative, he achieved his high school diploma and was hired in August 2024 as a Teacher Assistant. His role quickly became impactful, serving as a role model for 5th and 6th grade students. In just a short time, Timothy touched the hearts of his students and colleagues, and his family was immensely proud of his accomplishments.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Timothy's life, with visiting hours on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 5 to 8 PM at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Route 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Timothy's memory to the West Bay Collaborative, 144 Bignall Street, Warwick, RI 02888.
