Timothy L. 'Tim' Crye, 71, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on August 30, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on February 24, 1953 to the late Grady and Lula Cleo Sullivan Crye.
Tim worked as a Senior Auditor for the U.S. Office of Inspector General. He lived in Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida before retiring to his home town of Benton, Tennessee. Tim loved to travel, loved old cars, and had a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Grady and Lula Cleo Crye, he was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Kay Crye.
Left to cherish the many memories include one aunt, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Benton Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Andrew Sibley officiating.
Family and friends will gather from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Angie Davis, Rhonda Arms, and all of his other dear friends who shared his life. He loved you.
