Timothy Custy Obituary
Prior to his retirement, Tim worked as a maintenance manager for Walmart. Outside of his career, music was one of his greatest passions. He especially loved 70's rock and found joy in both listening to and creating music. Tim could play the guitar as easily as he could sit behind the drums, and he performed in several bands over the years. Tim had a deep love for adventure and the open road. He enjoyed spending time on his jet ski and riding snowmobiles. A proud "Vanner", Tim owned several custom vans throughout the years. He loved working on them himself, adding his personal touches.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his son, Timothy J. Custy Jr. of Cheshire, his sisters, Eileen Custy, Maryann Amarante, and Patricia Yale, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be planned at the end of the month. Wallingford Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the charity of one's choice.

I´m sorry to hear of Tim´s passing. He spent years practicing with my band and different bands at the Cross Street band rooms. In recent years I´d run into him in the parking lot at Wal-Mart. It was always great to see him and catch up. I´m sharing a picture of him circa 1999 in The Johnny Scaggs Band. We had a good time. My condolences, John Scaglione

Tim was a wonderful person, friend and co worker. I spoke with him every day and I had known him since the day I began working at Walmart with him. He will truly be missed.
