Timothy Alan Dinauer, age 71, passed away peacefully while sleeping on Friday, November 22nd at his home in Raymond. He was born in South Milwaukee on October 16th, 1953, to the late Thomas and Darcy (née Christensen) Dinauer.
Tim is survived by the love of his life, Cheryl (née Borchardt), whom he married on October 17th, 1975. Tim loved his morning coffee on the deck alongside his wife, where they would be surrounded by nature and all kinds of God's creatures, including birds, squirrels, foxes, deer, and raccoons. He loved his vegetable gardens and experimenting with new gardening techniques and ideas each year.
Tim and Cheryl loved long summer and fall weekends up north in Boulder Junction at their camper. They enjoyed nightly campfires, kayaking, and fishing at all the Vilas County lakes, and listening to bluegrass music while picnicking at Nichols Lake. They also cherished celebrating wedding anniversaries in Door County.
He was beyond dedicated and proud of his family, whom he loved fiercely. Tim led his family across the US on many vacations to see oceans and lakes, forests, mountain ranges and canyons, and numerous national parks. For his children, he was always the voice of reason and unwavering stability, and the pride he felt in watching his grandchildren grow was visible to all who knew him.
Tim worked as a Master Electrician after learning the trade from his late father-in-law, Romeyn, and was a proud member of the IBEW Local 494. Many years of hard work at Pieper Electric resulted in huge, strong hands which were only dwarfed by the size of his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Darcy, brother Michael, brother-in-law Thomas Hughes, father-in-law Romeyn, mother-in-law Lois (née Multhauf), and nephew Chad Borchardt.
He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl, twin sons Jacob (Monica) and Jesse (partner Rebecca), daughter Sarah Eiles (Jeffrey), sister-in-law Katherine, brothers John and David (Tammy) and sisters Patricia Fojut (John), Deborah Look (Dale), Jean Hughes, Julie Frommholz (Michael), Elizabeth Lampe (James), brothers-in-law DuWayne (Evelyn) and Clinton Borchardt, sisters-in-law Karen (Ken) Gamberini and Gina (John) Fuhreck, and his cherished grandchildren Estella, Drew, Lillian, Anasyn, Bode, and Calla, as well as bonus grandchildren Kendall and Kylie.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Raymond Fire & Rescue and Aurora St. Luke's Hospital for their compassionate care, with a special thanks to Eric Roberts, MD and Beth Chojnacki, RN.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Wisconsin Chapter at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/lfoaw
