Timothy Duke Dodsworth

Timothy Duke Dodsworth, age 63 passed away too early in life on August 23, 2022. Tim was born in Auburn, Washington to Paul and Geraldine Dodsworth. He graduated from Auburn High School and Central Washington University and worked for Nestlé for 20 years. Lovingly known as the Candy Man, he always had a special treat to share and his kindness continued long after he retired. He will be remembered by all for his loud voice, bright smile, positive energy and never ending generosity to all he came in contact with. He was married to his best friend Mary for 32 years and was most proud of his children James Duke and Emily Jo who he felt were his greatest accomplishments. He loved living and supporting the Steilacoom community, taking care of his family and friends, playing at the beach, reading, reading, reading, walking everywhere and attending any kind of sporting event. We'll remember Tim at his memorial tailgate party in the Steilacoom Community Center on Saturday, October 1 at 5:30 p.m. Wear your favorite sports team jersey and in lieu of flowers consider donating to the FOSL (Friends of Steilacoom Library) in memory of Tim.
