Timothy Allen Egenolf went home to be with the Lord on Sunday December 22, 2024, in Bargersville, Indiana. Tim was born on February 15, 1976, in Beach Grove to the late Vincent Egenolf and preceding Sharon Strong.
To everyone around him he was a father, son, leader, and a God-fearing man. He was known for his incredible selflessness and drive to help those around him. Tim's family was an essential part of his life as he leaves behind his high school sweetheart Holly and three girls, Katie (Bug), Grace (Little in the middle), and Ella (Sniff). Tim loved to sit out in his barn with all his girls, listen to music, and enjoy the life him and his wife had built together.
Those left to cherish Tim's memory include as previously mentioned his wife and kids, Mother Sharon, sister Jill (Brad); nephews Landon, Garrett, Luke, mother and father-in-law Brenda and Mike Turk, sister-in-law Heidi (Andrew); nephew Jackson, niece Ava, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Off the clock, Tim loved spending time with his wife, kids, and family at endless sporting events, off roading jeep rides, and working out at the gym. Tim loved his date nights with his wife that always seemed to end in a long jeep ride. Whether it was in the house, out at the barn, he always wanted to be surrounded by his people. Whether day or night if he were needed, he would be there as soon as he could. He was full of humor and filled everyone around him with joy even if he was a teaser.
Tim was the President of Egenolf Industrial Group, Inc. He started at the business while his grandfather, Paul Egenolf, was the owner soon after graduating from high school. He followed in his father's footsteps and began to learn the complexities of moving heavy machinery. He put his full passion into wanting to be the best he could be and expanding his skill and capabilities to include larger and larger projects. Starting with machine tools and printing presses, Tim learned everything he could about the equipment, types of machines, and the tools needed to complete quality work efficiently and safely. In his quest for more challenging projects, Tim developed into the stamping machine market which required massive retooling of the company to move large presses over 500 thousand pounds. Throughout this development of the company, Tim stayed humble and continued to consider himself a learner. He helped train and support his colleagues around him and soon became the designated technical leader of the organization. After 30 years of working in the industrial contracting market, Tim was recognized as an industry leader for relocation of these massive machines and led Egenolf Industrial Group to become the premier midwestern rigging company. Tim will be remembered by his employees, colleagues, and business partners as a hardworking, creative, caring, and fun person to work for and within a very demanding business.
Tim was one of a kind and will be desperately missed. He loved God will all his heart and truly showed what it is to be a servant of the Lord. We know we will see him again one day.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. A Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30am at the funeral home all are welcome to attend. A private burial will follow the service for the family.

I watched Tim grow from a child to the man he became. He took hold of the Egenolf legacy of caring and sharing for others and made it a part of his business. I will always appreciate how he treated me in the time I've known him. Thanks Tim!!

Tim Egenolf was unlike any owner of a company I have ever met. If I was laying in 6 inches of grease he was right beside me. The best memories I have working at a job come from a few years of working with him. He truly cared about everyone even someone like me who at the time didn´t deserve it. Working with him meant we got the job done as quick as possible because he didn´t like to be away from his family. I know he will be missed.

Im devastated by the news of Tim's passing. Words alone aren't enough to describe what an awesome human being he was. I've know him for almost 30 years & will miss him a lot. My condolences to his family.

I did jujitsu with Tim outside of work and he pushed me to be the best I could be and he took notice that the key factor holding me back from excelling further in jujitsu was the cost of a uniform that man that day cared enough to reach into his pocket and buy me a uniform it meant a lot more to me than he understood all so I could continue to excell in that sport this is just a small example of the beautiful soul that man possessed he was a father figure at times to many more than just his immediate children and any man or woman that was blessed with having the privilege to work with him or have any relationship with him in any regard has a very good point of reference of what it means to be a beautiful human being I among many will never forget some of the laughs and heartfelt moments this man brought to this earth God bless his soul and his family

I only met him once. We planned a four wheeling trip and a lot of people from his work and friends showed up. He had a lot to be thankful for and definitely enjoyed every minute out there. RIP buddy

They say some men can move mountains, well Tim did . Mountains of machines. But I know one of his favorite moves was a bridge ! Tim would be the first in the pit , the first to get dirty . Tim lead his crew by example, a very humble caring man. No one better to work for . I sure am gonna miss ya Tim . Thank you for the opportunity´s.

When I was 19 years old, I had always had my girlfriend now why to wake me up in the mornings I got a job at Egenolf and my second week. I went out of town with Tim , I was supposed to be downstairs at 7 AM and I roll over and it´s 930. I don´t have his phone number. I had to Google our Shop´s number and when Tim called me, he said sit around and watch him cartoons or something. He showed up shortly after to get me and said everybody gets one of those.. greatest boss I´ve ever had most loving caring guy and definitely was a family man. I liked going out of town with him because he rushed home to Holly and his kids. The greatest memories I´ll have in life at work have came from this great man truly cared about everyone even when it wasn´t deserved. Heaven gained an incredible soul.

He always made me feel I could do anything I put my mind to. Pushed me in the gym and made me feel stronger every time I saw him. His encouragement is second to none.
