Timothy Eugene Fizer

On February 26, 2024, Timothy Eugene Fizer of Parkton, MD passed away at home after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Lorainne Alanne Hench, adored father of Hannah Lorainne Fizer, Benjamin Timothy Fizer and his fiancée Jessica Cornwell, and brother of Amy Bickel. He was predeceased by his parents, Gene and Ida Fizer and brother, Michael Fizer. Tim is also survived by many loving family and friends.
Tim grew up in Bassett, Virginia. He earned his undergraduate degree from Douglass College of Rutgers University and his Juris Doctor from American University's Washington College of Law. Tim was a practicing attorney for over 40 years in Maryland and the District of Columbia and in 2013, opened his own firm, Fizer, LLC. Tim was guided by his strong faith and believed in doing good works: he was a member of Our Lady of Grace's pastoral council and served on committees for Our Lady of Grace School, held leadership positions with the Knights of Columbus, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and was an advisor for Hereford High School's Mock Trial team.
Tim has been described as a true gentleman, a force of nature, a welcoming and generous man, a lover of country music and a heck of a BBQ master. He cherished Lori, Hannah and Benjamin, caring for and guiding his family with unconditional love, compassion and a wicked sense of humor. He will be forever missed, but always in our hearts.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Tim's life at the Evans Life Celebration Home, 16924 York Road, Monkton, MD with a visitation on Thursday, February 29 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 18310 Middletown Road, Parkton, MD on Friday, March 1st at 11:00 am.
