Timothy Fleming Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home - Bardstown on Feb. 8, 2022.
TIMOTHY GABRIEL FLEMING born May 31, 1961 unexpectedly passed away February 6, 2022 at the age of 60. The youngest of six children to Edgar K. Fleming and Helen Haming Fleming, who preceded him in death.
After graduating from Central High School and attending the University of Louisville, Timothy became the owner and operator of Pets Galore. While there he raised many exotic animals and served as a mentor to many employees. He also spent many years as a DJ for weddings, high school mixers, graduations and other special events with his company Lazer Beat. He was a lover of animals, music, cooking, U of L sports, and people. His calling in life was to be compassionate. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Everyone loved to be around him. He knew how to turn things around with a good story and a laugh, he will be missed by so many.
He is survived by his siblings Mary Ellen Dailey (James), Kathleen Fleming, Dr. Michael Fleming (Bridget), Patricia Wolff (Bruce), and Dennis Fleming; eleven nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Anna.
His wishes were to be cremated. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, February 12, from 9-10 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Rd, with a Christian Mass of Burial to begin at 10 am after the visiting. Burial will be private at St. Michael Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul, the Louisville Zoo, and the Kentucky Humane Society.

I was so shocked and saddened to see the news of Tim's passing. He was my dog sitter for many years. I first met him as owner of Pets Galore. He was a kind man and so great with animals. So sorry. RIP Tim.
