Timothy Frank Obituary

Visit the A.E. Ross Funeral Home - Alpena website to view the full obituary.

Timothy Joseph Frank, age 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his home surrounded by family, friends and his beloved partner, Barb Burton.

Tim has a large circle of close friends from Alpena where he has lived for the past 15 plus years, as well as several he has known for 50 plus years, in Mt. Clemens (aka) "The Clem" where he was born and raised.

Tim's deep faith, strength and fierce determination was put to the test as he fought a 19 month battle against cancer.

Tim loved to have a good time, ALL the time, which included his friends, family, brothers from other mothers and his team of pool players in the "Over 40 League" @ Lattitudes.

Tim loved to eat, but there had NOT been an onion in sight!! He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and motorcyclist. He also loved an "ice cold bubble" (if you know you know) or some "Old #7". He definitely enjoyed good music and loved to share links with us.

Tim truly loved life.

Tim is survived by his siblings Colleen (Dale), Charleen, Scott (Barbara), and Jeffrey (Jane). Nieces/nephews Savanna, Cait, Elliot, Zachary, Chad, Shane and Sean. He is also survived by his loving faithful companion for the last 21 years, Barb Burton. He was proceeded in death by his parents Thomas Frank, Jr. (Joann), Kathleen Cornett (Don) and his sister Lavonda.

NOT ONE OF US KNOWS WHAT WE WILL DO WITHOUT HIM

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8th @ Thunderbowl Lanes from 2pm-6pm.

A.E. Ross Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
