Timothy Gerald Goins, 58, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully while at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA on Thursday, July 10, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:00 AM (EST) on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Tommy Fountain officiating. A private interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Tim was born July 13, 1966, in Columbus, GA son of Alice Faye Page Goins and the late Elbert Grady Goins. He was formerly employed by Reaves Landfill as the Landfill Manager. Timothy loved Dirt Track Racing and enjoyed going with family and friends. He also was an avid Alabama Football fan enjoying game day fun. Tim was always the “Life of the Party”.
We will remember him as a loving son, dad, Pop and uncle. He was also a loyal friend to those who were closest to him.
Mr. Goins was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Grady Goins and two brothers, Grady Mark Goins and Thomas Gregory Goins.
Survivors other than his mother, Alice Faye Goins, include his children, Paul Goins (Tasha), Tiffany Edenfield (Jake), Elizabeth Hoad (Harley), Haley Raines and Hannah Hattaway; ten grandchildren, Dylan, Braxton, Ava, Brantley, Eden, Hosanna, Emerie, J.P., Darby and Nash; one great-grandchild, Blair; two nephews, Stephen and Michael Goins; several other family members and friends.
